Frequency planner

Prototype of the All Areas RF pass. Plan clean frequencies for wireless mics and in-ears, or check a list you already have for clashes.

Prototype. Always confirm a plan with a scan on site and your manufacturer's software. Australian rules (ACMA, under the LIPD class licence): wireless mics and in-ears can use 520–694 MHz on frequencies TV doesn't use where you are (520–526 MHz is clear everywhere), and 1785–1800 MHz; not 694–820 MHz any more. Plans stay just inside those bands. Find the TV channels on air near you with the ACMA Channel Finder.

Plan

Set From and To to your equipment's tuning range (for example a 606–670 MHz band).

TV channels on air here

Tick every TV channel broadcasting where you are. Planned frequencies stay out of them, with 250 kHz to spare at each edge.

Already in use

These are worked around when you plan. Or check them on their own for clashes.

Site scan

Plans stay 100 kHz clear of anything over the line.
